Hi everybody,

Former Phillies 2nd basenman (and my hero) Chase Utley was placed on the DL (Disabled List) yesterday (May 30th) with a sprained left thumb.  Hopefully the injury isn't serious and my hero will be back playing in a couple weeks.

Rhys Hoskins Placed on the DL

Hi everybody,

Phillies outfielder Rhys Hoskins was placed on the 10-day DL (Disabled List) yesterday (May 30th) with a fractured jaw.  The injury occurred when he hit a foul ball into his mouth during his at-bat in the 9th inning of Monday's (May 28th) game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Phils minor league outfielder Dylan Cozens has been called up to take Hoskins place on the 25-man roster.

Pedro Florimon Placed on the DL

Hi everybody,

Phillies infielder Pedro Florimon was placed on the 10-day DL (Disabled List) yesterday (May 30th) with a fractured right foot.  The injury occurred when he hit a foul ball into his foot during his at-bat in the 1st inning of Tuesday's (May 29th) game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Phils minor league infielder Mitch Walding has been called up to take Florimon's place on the 25-man roster.

Adam Morgan Returns from the DL

Hi everybody,

Phillies relief pitcher Adam Morgan was reactivated from the DL (Disabled List) before yesterday's (May 17th) game against the St. Louis Cardinals.  Morgan has been on the DL since May 7th with a back strain.  Mark Leiter Jr. was sent back to Triple A to make room for Morgan on the 25-man roster.
