Christmas Update

Hi everybody,

Happy Holidays!  I have been real busy or I would have posted this sooner. My friends and I had a great time on Christmas day.  I got some great gifts again.  These aren't all for me, they are for my friends too.

Here are some of the gifts I got:

This gift is so awesome.  My friends told me, and I quote: "This was really hard to create...uh...'er, get for you".  I have some of the best friends ever. Even my dear Grammie joined in the Christmas fun by sending me some almond toffee and popcorn from Enstrom Candies.

I can't wait to dig in.  Thanks Grammie!

To finish my fun Christmas week, I went to Krispy Kreme in Center City and got some snowman doughnuts.  I also got a cup of joe.

Happy Birthday Chase

It just happens to be my birthday today too!  I celebrated over the weekend. One of my friends made me a brownie cake and it was delicious!!

It's Christmastime in the city

Hi everybody,

Happy Holidays!  I've been doing some photography around Philadelphia and getting into the Christmas spirit.

Here's the tree at Love Park.  I think this is the city's official Christmas tree.

And there's a giant macaroni there too!  I'm not sure why, but I love it!!

If you look really close you'll see me in the shot!

I bought this delicious hummus at the Christmas village there.

This Santa Claus is in front of a building right near Rittenhouse Square.

This is a pretty, decorated street a few blocks from Rittenhouse Square.

Oh, and here's my tree!  I went with white lights this year 'cause it's classy!

Thanksgiving Update

Hi everybody,

I hope you all had a great weekend.  I know that I did.  I never did get a picture of our Thanksgiving feast but I did manage to get a shot of me eating some leftovers on Friday night.  The turkey was still great.

I stayed in and just relaxed for the whole weekend.  It was nice to just take it easy.  My friends did go out on Saturday morning to get some Chick-fil-A breakfast.  That chicken & biscuit sammich with a large cup of joe sure hit the spot.

Even More Charleston

I thought I'd share even more photos from my Charleston trip.

Here's a picture of me being silly on Rainbow Row in my Phanatic dangle hat!

When I took this picture there were no skeletons on the building!  They must have shown up on the photo later....g-g-g-ghosts!!!   (Just kidding!)

This is the beach on Sullivan's Island.

Here's a little tiny crab on the beach.  It was the size of a spider!

And this is a cool church on Sullivan's Island a few blocks away.  We called it the "Pirate Church".

Sorry gang!!!

Hi everybody,

Hope everyone is having a good week.  I know that I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving and that huge turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

The reason that I am writing you all is that I just wanted to apologize for the lack of posts over the last month and a half.  Events in my life have taken up more time than I thought they would so I have been unable to post as much as I would like.  I hope that will change in the coming weeks so I can devote more time to the blog.

Congrats To Hunter Pence

Hi everybody,

I meant to post this days ago.  Just wanted to congratulate Hunter Pence for his 2012 World Series Championship with the San Francisco Giants.  I really don't like the Giants but I will always be a Hunter Pence fan.  I knew that Pence would win a World Series but I thought he would do it as a Phillie.

This should have been with the Phils...

Happy Halloween

Hi everybody,

Happy Halloween!!!  I just got back from trick-or-treating and I got tons of booty...I mean candy!

Earlier today I got some Krispy Skremes to add to my treasure!

I've got lots of stuff to eat the next couple of days so I think I will watch some spooky shows.  Before I go to bed I will continue my tradition of watching Disney's Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  I hope you all have a spooky and fun Halloween!!!

Halloween

Hi everybody,

I've been trying to decide on a Halloween costume.  I don't think I can use the one from last year, even though it was really good.

I thought about being Pedro from South of the Border, but I just don't think I look as good as him.

I got these Hunter Pence and Shane Victorino costumes really cheap!  But I realized why they were so cheap and I figured I should think of something else.

Then I got to thinking about all the talk of pirates in Charleston and decided that should be my costume!  What do you think?

I'm a regular swashbuckler!  Soon it will be time for plunderin'!
