2016 Little Chase Season Highlights (1-20-17)

This week's "highlight" occurred at the Thanksgiving Day parade in Philly.  While parade hosts Rick Williams and Cecily Tynan were describing the festivities...I decided to get on screen for a little selfie action.  The hosts didn't seem to mind me sneaking on screen so everything turned out well.

Thanksgiving Update

Hi everybody,

I hope you all had a great weekend.  I know that I did.  I never did get a picture of our Thanksgiving feast but I did manage to get a shot of me eating some leftovers on Friday night.  The turkey was still great.

I stayed in and just relaxed for the whole weekend.  It was nice to just take it easy.  My friends did go out on Saturday morning to get some Chick-fil-A breakfast.  That chicken & biscuit sammich with a large cup of joe sure hit the spot.

Sorry gang!!!

Hi everybody,

Hope everyone is having a good week.  I know that I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving and that huge turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

The reason that I am writing you all is that I just wanted to apologize for the lack of posts over the last month and a half.  Events in my life have taken up more time than I thought they would so I have been unable to post as much as I would like.  I hope that will change in the coming weeks so I can devote more time to the blog.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Hi everybody,

Pumpkin cheesecake...yummy!!!

Hope you all have had a good holiday weekend!  I spent Thanksgiving at friends eating lots of turkey with all the fixins.  It was great!  I wish I still had some more turkey left to eat.  I will have to make a turkey sometime before Christmas.  At least I still have some leftover pumpkin cheesecake to eat.  It is so good.  I will have to get the recipe for it....or just buy one at the store.  I will have to make sure I also get a regular pumpkin pie.  I'm craving one of them as well.

Also started my Christmas shopping.  I didn't go out on Black Friday because of the crowds plus I was too sleepy from the turkey but I did manage to hit the stores on Saturday.  Unfortunately, I had a little trouble with my bags when I got home....

I got a lot of shopping done but I still have much to do.  I am planning on setting up the Christmas tree next week and I have a lot of Christmas themed stuff planned for the blog so please keep checking in.
