I just wanted to wish you all a Happy National Love Your Pet Day. Although my pet cat Abby passed away a few years ago (R.I.P. Abby)...I will always love and miss her. Hope you all appreciate your pets today.

This week's Throwback Thursday moment is from my trip to Charleston a couple years ago at the King Charles Inn early in the morning just before my friends and I began our trip home. I'm always a bit sad when I leave Charleston but I soon am looking forward to our next trip there.
This month's London photo is from Madame Tussauds wax museum and is a scene from Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. In this scene, Luke Skywalker battles his father Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) aboard the Death Star while the evil Emperor Palpatine looks on.
This week's Throwback Thursday moment is another picture from my visit to Magnolia Plantation and Gardens during my trip to Charleston a couple years ago. Here I am on a swamp tour looking for alligators.
This month's Charleston photo is a shot from Charleston Harbor of the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown at Patriots Points in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The Yorktown (now a museum ship and National Historic Landmark) served the U.S. Navy during World War 2, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
This week's photo is a shot of Chase at an event for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Chase and his wife Jen have always been strong supporters of PETA and animal adoption and they have made many appearances to benefit the organization.
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy National Bobblehead Day! I'm celebrating this great day with the custom bobblehead of me (I call him Little Little Chase) that my friends bought me a few years ago!
The Eagles lost to the Seahawks 17-9 earlier today and were eliminated from the playoffs. Eagles starting quarterback Carson Wentz was injured early with a concussion and were never able to recover although they hung in the game until the end. Even though the Eagles were decimated with injuries for the entire season, they were able to grind it out and win the NFC East Title. I am already looking forward to seeing the Birds next season.
This week's Throwback Thursday moment is from my trip to Charleston a few years back when I was staying at the King Charles Inn. The King Charles is an amazing place to stay while visiting Charleston and I look forward to staying there again someday.
