Jeff Manship Placed on the DL

Hi everybody,

Phillies relief pitcher Jeff Manship was placed on the 15-day DL (Disabled List) with a strained right quad before yesterday's game against the New York Mets.  Manship was injured during Saturday's 14-inning loss to the New York Mets.  Pitchers Phillippe Aumont and Cesar Jimemez were brought up from the Triple A Lehigh Valley IronPigs to replace Manship.  Darin Ruf was also sent back down to Triple A to help make room for both of the relief pitchers.

Michael Stutes Placed on the DL

Just wanted to let you know that Phillies relief pitcher Michael Stutes was placed on the DL (Disabled List) yesterday with right biceps tendinitis.  Pitcher Phillippe Aumont was brought up from the Triple-A Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs to take Stutes place on the roster.
