Phillies Start Spring Training Games Today

Still trying to find a 2017 pic...

Hi everybody,

The Phillies play their first Spring Training game this afternoon in an exhibition contest against the University of Tampa Spartans in Clearwater, FL.  The Phils then play their first Spring Training game tomorrow (February 24th) against the New York Yankees in Tampa, FL.  Good luck, Phillies!

Gettysburg Photo of the Month (February 2017)

Hi everybody,

This month's photo is of the monument to the New York Regiments of the Irish Brigade.  The Irish Brigade was made up of the 63rd, 69th and 88th New York Infantry Regiments, the 14th New York Independent Battery, the 28th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment and the 116th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment.

The Irish Brigade was one of the hardest fighting units in the Union Army of the Potomac and their monument is located in Rose Woods near The Wheatfield

2016 Little Chase Season Highlights (2-17-17)

Hi everybody,

Sadly this is the final 2016 season "highlight"...but it is a great one.  This "highlight" occurred when the Phillies TV Broadcast Crew were posing for their annual photo.  I decided to join in since one of my dreams is to someday be on Gregg Murphy's Phillies Notebook.  I even put on a tie so I could appear more professional.  Lucky for me the the broadcast team didn't seem to mind my appearance in one of their photos.

I hope you have enjoyed all of my 2016 highlights.  With the baseball season starting soon, I'm sure there will be plenty of great new highlights in 2017.

Throwback Thursday (2-16-17)

Hi everybody,

This week's Throwback Thursday moment is from last October following the final game of the Phillies 2016 Season.  As is my custom...I take off my Phils jersey following the last game of the Phillies season and put on my Eagles jersey.  With Spring Training starting up...I'll soon be putting my Phillies jersey back on again.
