Joe Girardi Named New Phillies Manager

Hi everybody,

The Phils announced earlier today that former MLB Head Coach Joe Girardi was named as the new manager. Girardi previously managed the Miami Marlins and New York Yankees (where he won a World Series title against the Phillies in 2009) and brings much needed experience to the team.  Girardi replaces Gabe Kapler to become the 55th manager in the history of the Phillies organization.  Good luck Joe Girardi!

Alumni Weekend - Celebration of 2009 National League Championship Team

Hi everybody,

Alumni Weekend concluded earlier today with a pregame ceremony honoring the Phillies 2009 National League Championship team.  Almost all the members of the 2009 team were in attendance and Cole Hamels provided a video message to their teammates and the fans.  It was great to see the 2009 team again and it makes me want to watch some 2009 Phils baseball.
