Hi everybody,The Phils announced earlier today that former MLB Head Coach Joe Girardi was named as the new manager. Girardi previously managed the Miami Marlins and New York Yankees (where he won a World Series title against the Phillies in 2009) and brings much needed experience to the team. Girardi replaces Gabe Kapler to become the 55th manager in the history of the Phillies organization. Good luck Joe Girardi!
