The Phillies play their first Spring Training game this afternoon in an exhibition contest against the University of Tampa Spartans. Good luck, Phillies!
This week's Throwback Thursday moment is from 2014 when I was traveling to Gettysburg during my vacation. On the way, my friends and I stopped at the Roy Rogers in Thurmont, Maryland to get some grub. Even the dreary day could not dampen my mood for some fried chicken and roast beef sammiches.
This week's photo is a picture of a Topps baseball card from 2008 with Chase and Ryan Howard. It's a great looking card from one of the greatest years in Phillies baseball history.
This month's Gettysburg photo was taken in June 2009 and is a picture of the Tennessee State Memorial. The Tennessee Memorial is located on West Confederate Avenue near the North Carolina State Memorial.
This week's Throwback Thursday moment is from December, 2012 (Ladies' Night at Little C.'s Club) when my friend Ann Onymous bribed me with some cream doughnuts so she could post her Ladies Night entries on my blog as an official contributor. I'm somewhat embarrassed that I could be bought off by a couple doughnuts. In my defense...they were really good.
This week's photo is from 2008 right after the Phillies won the World Series. Chase is seen here celebrating with his teammates on the field. What a great day in Philadelphia sports history!
This week's Throwback Thursday moment is from my first of many visits to the Krispy Kreme doughnut shop in Collingswood, New Jersey. Krispy Kreme is a magical place and I look forward to my next trip there.
This week's Throwback Thursday moment is from a few years back when I was playing Dead Island on my PS3. I happened to be playing against Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead. Even though Daryl is a professional zombie/walker killer....I did manage to win the game. He kinda just stood there while I beat him. Guess he's just thinking about TWD returning to TV next Sunday night on AMC.
