Hi everybody,Phillies starting pitcher Vincent Velasquez was placed on the DL (Disabled List) with a strained right bicep. Velasquez injured his arm in the 1st inning of Wednesday's game (June 8th) against the Chicago Cubs. Velasquez only threw two pitches and retired one batter before he was pulled from the game. The injury is not thought to be serious so Velasquez will hopefully only miss a few starts. Zach Eflin has been called up from Triple A to take his spot in the rotation and will make his first start on Tuesday.
