Just wanted to let you know that Phillies 1st Baseman Ryan Howard was placed on the DL (Disabled List) yesterday with a sore left knee. He is going to have an MRI either today or tomorrow to determine if surgery is necessary. If it is, Howard's season will most likely be over. 1st Baseman/Left Fielder Darin Ruf was brought up from the Triple-A Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs to take Howard's place on the roster.
