Hi everybody,Just wanted to give an update on Ryan Howard's knee injury (Ryan Howard Placed on DL). Howard had the MRI on his injured left knee earlier today and it revealed a torn medial meniscus which will require surgery later this week. He is expected to miss six to eight weeks which means that he should make his return in late August or early September. With Howard out, Darin Ruf is expected to get the majority of starts at 1st Base. Get well soon, Big Piece!
