Ronald Torreyes Named Phillies 2021 Heart and Hustle Award Winner

Hi everybody,

I just wanted to congratulate Phils infielder Ronald Torreyes for being selected as the Phillies 2021 Heart and Hustle Award winner.  Heart and Hustle Award winners are voted on by former MLB players and are awarded to active players who most represent passion for the game of baseball and best embody the values, spirit and tradition of the game.  The final winner among the 30 chosen (one for each MLB Team) will be selected in mid-November on the MLB Network.  Congrats again, Ronald Torreyes!

Chase Utley Photo of the Week (7-22-15)

Hi everybody,

I just wanted to congratulate my hero Chase Utley for be chosen as the Philadelphia Phillies Heart and Hustle Award winner.  This is the sixth time that Chase has been chosen for this award.

According to a statement by the MLBPAA (Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association)...the Heart and Hustle Award:

"honors active players who demonstrate a passion for the game of baseball and best embody the values, spirit and tradition of the game"
