Throwback Thursday (10-28-21)

Hi everybody,

This week's Throwback Thursday moment is from Halloween 2013 when I decided to dress up as Little Dracula.  I wore my costume for nearly a week to get into my role so I could be really convincing when I went out for candy.  By the time Halloween rolled around, even I was started to believe that I could be a vampire.

This week's Throwback Thursday moment is a pic of my Halloween costume from 2014 where I dressed up as Heisenberg a.k.a. Walter White from the hit TV series Breaking Bad.  Instead of producing illegal drugs, I made and sold pies instead.  Known as Piesenberg...I planned to take over the pie market in the Delaware Valley but I ended up eating all of the inventory instead.

Bryce Harper Chosen As Phillies Nominee for 2021 Hank Aaron Award

Hi everybody,

I just wanted to congratulate Phillies right fielder Bryce Harper for being selected for the third year in a row as the Phillies player up for the Hank Aaron Award.  The Hank Aaron Award is given to the top offensive player in both the American and National Leagues.  The award will be presented to the winners in November.  Congrats again, Bryce!

Phillies Get 17th Pick in 2022 MLB Draft

The Phillies will be receiving the seventeenth pick in the 2022 MLB Draft due to their 82-80 record.  I hope this pick in next year's draft will help the Phils in a few seasons when they will hopefully be contenders again.
