Hi everybody,Just wanted to let you all know that the Phils were officially eliminated from post-season play after Game 1 of yesterday's (September 24th) Double Header against the Washington Nationals. This will mark the eigth straight season of not reaching the playoffs after making it five years in a row (with 5-straight NL East Titles) from 2007-2011.
After an amazing offseason with the Phils signing Bryce Harper and Andrew McCutchen as well as trading for J.T. Realmuto....it stinks how the Phils once again stumbled late in the season and were unable to make the playoffs.
