Hi everybody,Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto is done for the season with a right knee injury. The Phils announced earlier today that he will be having meniscus cleanup surgery on his right knee as early as this Friday (September 27th). The surgery is considered minor and Realmuto will be ready to go by Spring Training.
Realmuto enters the last year of his contract in 2020 but his amazing play should ensure that the Phillies sign him to a long-term deal this offseason.
