Another Christmas Update

Hi everybody,

Just thought I would share some more Christmas pictures.  This is just before we started eating our Christmas feast.  We had turkey breast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole (I didn't try that), corn muffins and crescent rolls.  The food was delicious and we all ate lots.

Christmas Update

Hi everybody,

Hope you all are having a fun Holiday Season!  I thought I would share some pictures.  My friends came over on Christmas day to hang out.  We started off by opening presents:

2011 Phillies Yearbook DVD (at least the regular season was fun)

I got me a cool chopper!

My friends got a little carried away when they were opening some of their gifts!

 After I got out of that predicament, I opened more gifts:

I got a dog!  My friends said his name is Jingle but I think I'll call him Bob.

I even got an ice cream maker!  Can't wait to make root beer floats!

Here's some stuff from my stocking...time for thumb wrestling.

Bacon!!!  I'll definitely share this stuff with my friends...well, maybe not the toothpaste.

 And finally, the greatest gift of all:

An autographed picture of Chase!!  My friends said, and I quote: "This was really hard to create...uh...'er, get for you".  I really appreciate it!  I'll probably have more updates and pictures to follow.

The Five Worst Christmas Songs

Hi everybody,

I love listening to Christmas songs this time of the year.  I enjoy most of them but there are a few I really don't like.  So I decided to list the five songs I dislike the most!  I hope you don't like them as much as I don't.

1.  The Chipmunks Christmas song (Not even sure if that's the right name)

2.  Paul McCartney "Wonderful Christmas Time"  (Even thinking about this song makes me ill)

3.  "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" (I don't have any idea who sings it and I don't really care)

4.  George Michael "Last Christmas"  (ugh)

5.  The Peanuts "Christmas Time is Here" (That song is very depressing and I'm a happy guy)

6.  The Waitresses "Christmas Wrapping"  (I know I said five songs but I just remembered that one and had to add it)

Christmas Eve Update

Hi everybody,

Hope you all are having a fun and stress free day!  I finally got finished wrapping my last presents.

With that out of the way, I decided to jump on the computer and check out the NORAD Santa site.  It sure is neat!  I wish that I had known about it when I was a little kid.

Christmas Cookies

Finally got around to making some Christmas cookies last night.

They sure taste great!  After baking was complete, I settled down to watch some old Christmas shows.

Always enjoy watching these classics.  Christmas wouldn't be the same if I didn't get to watch A Year Without a Santa Claus with the Miser Brothers.

NORAD Tracks Santa

My Birthday Party

Hi everybody,

Time to make a wish!

By pure coincidence, yesterday was my birthday too!  My friends were nice enough to make me a cake.  It was a Coca-Cola cake and it tasted really yummy.  I got an awesome balloon too!  They even sang to me but they told me I have to wait until Christmas day for my presents.  I'm not sure why I have to wait a week but I think I must be getting something cool.

Christmas Stocking

Hi everybody,

That's a cute little guy but it's not their baby...that's a dog!!!

I just wanted to congratulate Chase & his wife Jen on the birth of their son Benjamin Cooper Utley on Friday, December 2nd.  I bet he will grow up to be a great baseball player just like his awesome Dad!!!

Christmas Tree

Hi everybody,

How is everybody's Holiday Season going?  Mine is going great!  I put up my Christmas tree last night and it wasn't easy.

Lucky for me, I have good friends who can help me out.

Especially to put the star on top!

It took us awhile to decorate the tree but it is now complete.  I am now really feeling the Christmas spirit.

I hope everyone who is putting up a Christmas tree has as much fun doing it as I did.
