David Robertson Done for the Season

Hi everybody,

Phillies relief pitcher David Robertson is done for the season after the Phillies announced earlier today that he is having elbow surgery.  Although Robertson is signed through next season, he may not recover until 2021 so he may have pitched his last game as a Phillie.

David Robertson Placed on the DL

Hi everybody,

Phillies relief pitcher David Robertson was placed on the 10-day DL (Disabled List) on Monday (April 15th) with a Grade 1 flexor strain in his right elbow.  It is not known how long Robertson will be out but hopefully the injury isn't too serious.

David Robertson Signs Two-Year Contract With Phillies

Hi everybody,

The Phils signed free agent relief pitcher David Robertson to a two-year contract that includes an option for a third-year in 2021.  Robertson has played his entire career in the American League before signing with the Phils.  Welcome to Philly, David Robertson!
