Hi everybody,
I just wanted to congratulate Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon for making history down at the ballpark. Papelbon became the Phillies All-Time Saves Leader last night by earning his record breaking 113th save with the Phils 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Papelbon is one of only two players in MLB history to lead two teams in saves as Paps is also the saves leader with the Boston Red Sox (219). The other player who reached that achievement is Robb Nen with the Miami Marlins (108) and San Francisco Giants (206).
Congrats again to Jonathan Papelbon for his history making achievement!
Talk to you soon,
Little Chase
