Jayson Nix Let Go by the Phillies

Hi everybody,

Meant to post this a couple days ago but better late than never.  Jayson Nix was sent down to the minors on May 13th but instead of accepting the assignment, he instead decided to become a free agent.  He ended up signing with the Tampa Bay Rays on May 16th.

Here are the final Phillies stats for Nix:

Batting Average = .154
RBIs = 2
Home Runs = 1
Hits = 6
Runs Scored = 1
Walks = 2
Stolen Bases = 0
Caught Stealing = 2
Strike Outs = 18

I wish Nix well on his new team.
