Hi everybody,Phillies starting pitcher Vincent Velasquez was placed on the DL (Disabled List) with a finger injury to his right middle finger before Friday night's (August 11th) game against the New York Mets. Velasquez was taken out of the game on Thursday (August 10th) after pitching just one inning. It is not known if Velasquez will return this season although Velasquez believes that he will. It is not yet known for certain who will replace Velasquez in the starting rotation but it is believed that it will be Mark Leiter, Jr.
