Roy Halliday Selected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame (Class of 2019)

Hi everybody,

I just wanted to congratulate former Phillies starting pitcher the late Roy Halliday for his recent selection to the National Baseball Hall of Fame (Class of 2019).  Halliday played with the Phils for the final four seasons of his career (2010-2013)...where he pitched both a perfect game and a playoff no-hitter during the 2010 season.  Halliday was also added to the Phillies Wall of Fame in 2018.  Congrats again to Doc and his family!!!

NFC Divisional Round: Philadelphia Eagles (10-8) Lose To New Orleans Saints (14-3)

Hi everybody,

The Eagles lost to the Saints 20-14 earlier today and were eliminated from the playoffs.  After a quick start and a 14-0 lead by the Eagles in the 1st quarter...the Saints bounced back and controlled the rest of the game.  Unfortunately the Eagles won't be able to repeat as World Champs but i give them credit for bouncing back from early season struggles to make the playoffs.  I am already looking forward to seeing the Birds next season.

This month's Charleston photo is a shot of the welcome sign to South of the Border in South Carolina.  Every time my friends and I head to and from Charleston...we pass by South of the Border.  We almost always stop for gas and to briefly check out the sites.
