Hi everybody,Former Phillies manager Charlie Manuel was named the new Phillies Hitting Coach before last night's (August 13th) game against the Chicago Cubs. Charlie (who starts working with the hitters today) replaces John Mallee for the remainder of the 2019 season. Even though Charlie is only expected to be hitting coach for the remainder of the season, I hope his many years of experience will help some of the players. Welcome back Charlie!!!
