Chase Utley Photo of the Week (6-18-14)

Hi everybody,

It was 60's night down at the ballpark last Friday and the Phillies wore retro 1964 uniforms during the game.  The players also had unique intro pictures when they came up to bat.  Chase was Mick Utley (Mick Jagger).  I decided to share that pic for this week's photo of the week.

Here's a closeup if the wider shot wasn't good enough for you all.  It's not the best picture of Chase that you will see but it is all in good fun.

My Big TV Break

Hi everybody,

It has been a pretty good week for me so far.  First off, the Phils are on a three game winning streak.  Then I got an awesome Chase Utley Bobblehead at Tuesday's game (and a good sammich too).  My biggest stroke of good luck came yesterday when I was chosen by the Phillies to be the AT&T Fan Photo of the Day (#PhillyFanPhoto if you are on Twitter).

Cool...I'm with Chase (photo courtesy of @80Phillies08)

I just want to thank the Phillies (@Phillies), AT&T, Tom McCarthy (@TMacPhils) and Gregg Murphy (@GmurphCSN) from the Phils broadcasting crew...who I suspect may have given me a helping hand.  Ever since I got the Chase Utley Bobblehead on Tuesday, I've been having good luck.  Is it a coincidence?

Thanks again for this great honor.

For this week's photo, I have decided to use a picture of the Chase Utley Bobble Head that the Phillies gave away at the ballpark last night.  I know this isn't a picture of Chase but it's close enough.

I was lucky enough to snag one and it is really cool.

My Trip to the Ballpark

Hi everybody,

Last night my friends and I went down to Citizens Bank Park to see the Phillies play the San Diego Padres.  It just so happened to be Chase Utley Bobble Head night (what a coincidence) so I was able to fetch me a cool figurine of my hero.  Besides that great score...it was also a great game and I had lots of fun.  We even had some awesome seats.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a delicious Tony Luke's Roast Pork Sammich.  Now that it some serious good eating.

This isn't the actual sammich that I ate...

After the Phils won, we headed home.

As soon as I got back, I decided to check out my Chase Bobble Head.

It wasn't too long before I opened it up and admired it.  My friends said that I stared at it for a long time.
