Hi everybody,This news is a few days old and I do apologize for not posting it sooner but I wanted to mention that the Phillies have signed free agent outfielder Marlon Byrd to a contract. This contract is for two-years at $16 million. This is Byrd's second go-round with the Phillies (he was with the club from 2002-2005) and is expected to be the starting right fielder next season. Welcome back, Marlon!
