Hi everybody,Just wanted to update you on a story that I posted earlier today (Erik Kratz Has Left Knee Injury). Phillies catcher Erik Kratz was placed on the DL (Disabled List) before today's game against the Milwaukee Brewers and he returned to Philadelphia to have an MRI on his left knee.
Steven Lerud has been brought up from the Triple-A Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs to replace Kratz on the roster. It is hoped that Carlos Ruiz will return to the club within the next week. Chooch has be on the DL since May 20th with a strained right hamstring.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Erik Kratz. Let's hope the knee injury isn't too severe.
